Platform Disclaimer
Last updated: October 2026 · Draft for platform functionality
Informational Purpose: Hackerzone provides platform infrastructure enabling independent organizers, builders, and judges to coordinate developer hackathons. Please review these operational disclaimers regarding third-party events, experimental AI code, and awards.
1. Independent Hackathon Organizers
Unless explicitly designated as an official Hackerzone flagship event (such as Hackerzone Season 1), hackathons listed on the Platform are created, administered, and judged independently by third-party companies, research institutions, educational organizations, and developer communities.
Each organizer is solely responsible for determining eligibility criteria, challenge prompts, judging decisions, and the timely disbursement of prizes, awards, or API credits. Hackerzone does not guarantee or assume liability for third-party sponsor prize fulfillment.
2. User-Generated Code & Project Showcases
Projects displayed in the Hackerzone gallery, repository links, video walk-throughs, and interactive live demos are submitted directly by participating builders. Hackerzone does not review, audit, verify, or certify the functionality, security, or legal ownership of third-party software code.
Running, downloading, or integrating code from hackathon submissions is performed entirely at your own risk.
3. Experimental AI Technologies & Non-Deterministic Outputs
Software built during hackathons frequently incorporates frontier artificial intelligence models, autonomous agent frameworks, and generative APIs. You acknowledge that AI technologies are inherently experimental and may generate unexpected, erroneous, or non-deterministic outputs.
Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal, financial, architectural, or professional investment advice.
4. External Links & Third-Party Services
The Platform contains links to external websites, Git repositories, API documentation, and third-party cloud providers. We have no control over the content, terms of service, or privacy practices of external destinations.
5. "As-Is" Platform Provision
The Hackerzone platform and all associated services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without express or implied warranties of any kind. For full terms, please consult our Terms of Service.
